Every School Needs A GrowKul

In a world of processed food and digital overload, GrowKul reconnects students with what nourishment means. Through curiosity, care, and hands-on growing. GrowKul is more than a garden in your school. It's a living, learning ecosystem that grows with the school and the student. In today’s world, where most children know more about snacks than seeds, GrowKul brings farming back into their lives- not as a subject, but as a skill for life. Designed by Lano Agritech, GrowKul is an initiative built not just for nurturing not just plants, but a perspective for the generations to come.

Reconnects Children with Food

Most students today can’t name seasonal, indigenous plants from the exotic ones. Growing a plant from seed changes that. It teaches patience, observation, and awe.

Boosts Curiosity and Confidence

From planting to harvest, children experience cause-and-effect in a very real way. This reinforces scientific thinking and nurtures problem-solving skills.

feature-item-3
Promotes Mindfulness

Gardening reduces stress, improves focus, and fosters calm — especially crucial in high-pressure academic settings.

Key Farming Technologies

In each GrowKul program, we aim to introduce multiple farming technologies to the participants, to give them a broad understanding of hybrid farming technologies. From hydroponics to aeroponics, each unit gives students a front-row seat to how future-ready farming works, while comparing it meaningfully with traditional soil-based methods.

  • Germination Unit

Germination unit has a micro-climate specifically tailored for germinating plants and building a botanical nursery for the GrowKul.

  • Microgreen Unit

Microgreens are stunted growth plants that pack a nutritional punch having up to 30X the nutrient concentration of a fully grown vegetable per kg.

  • Aeroponics System

Aeroponics is a soil-less method where plants grow with roots in the air. The window with gesture controlled opacity shows plant root systems mid-air.

  • ProFarm

ProFarm employs the Claybed technique- the latest in urban farming innovation, enabling us to grow multiple kinds of veggies in one unit.

  • GrowKit

Individual GrowKits are given to each student to grow and monitor their produce. Builds self-accountability and a sense of responsibility.

  • Outdoor Polyhouse

Children can explore soil-based farming with the Polyhouse, comparing indoor and outdoor systems to understand agriculture's weather vulnerabilities.
